From Dawn Keech, NPNA President:
“Hi neighbors. Many of you have reached out to members of the board or on this page to inquire about whether we would have a yard sale this year. It makes me sad to say it, but given the recent surge in cases in Michigan (and more specifically, Washtenaw County) and the general concern of sponsoring an event that could continue to spread the virus to our unvaccinated population, the NPNA doesn’t feel comfortable promoting such a large, public event at this time.
A year ago, none of us anticipated we would have to make this call two years in a row. We know the event is beloved by neighbors and the community. And we are anxious to turn a corner so can resume our usual slate of Normal activities. We continue to keep tabs on the public health data and look forward to bringing back our neighborhood events as soon as it’s safe to do so. Please reach out to the board if you have any questions. Thank you! Visit the COVID-19 Information Center for vaccine resources.Get Vaccine Info”
